Copst is a menu-bar app. After launch, look for the Copst clipboard icon in the macOS menu bar. Use Control + Option + V for full history or Command + Shift + V for Compact Mode.
Copy something, open Copst with either shortcut, choose a clip, then paste. Use the setup demo if you want Copst to create a sample clip for you.
Automatic paste needs macOS Accessibility permission so Copst can send Command+V to the front app after you choose a clip. Without permission, Copst still copies the selected clip to the clipboard.
Open Copst Settings, choose the privacy/storage area, then clear local clipboard history. Pins and board assignments are local too.
Website purchases use Stripe Checkout. After payment, copy the license key from the success page, open Copst Plans, then click Use Copied License.
Direct-download builds include Sparkle updates. Open the Copst menu-bar menu and choose Check for Updates... when a new build is available.
Open Copst Settings, choose Privacy, then use Export Diagnostics.... The report includes versions, settings, counts, and permission status, but not clipboard contents, copied images, license keys, or excluded app names.
If a browser warns about an archive download, use the DMG from copst.app. The DMG is signed, notarized, and verified by macOS Gatekeeper.
Email support@copst.app with your macOS version, Copst version, and a short description of what happened. If the issue is hard to reproduce, attach an exported diagnostics report from Copst Settings.
